Time to strap on your sneakers

We all hear about the benefits of moving more, but sometimes the motivation can be hard to find.  Evidence shows us that walking is a great way to make friends, enjoy the outdoors, stay fit and have some fun. It comes naturally for most people, and... you can do it alone for some thinking space, or you can join with others and make it a social event. The possibilities are endless.

The Heart Foundation aims to make getting started a little easier through it's community walking groups. It's the largest FREE walking network in Australia, and there is likely to be a group near you...but if not, it's super easy to start one, all the information is right here at your fingertips.  

You can check the details of groups in  Penrith, Katoomba, Springwood, LawsonCambridge Park and Blackheath - or search the site for one closer to you. It's time to take the first step.
