What is a Healthy Mind?

It seems odd to be ‘talking about, talking about’ minds bodies, relationships, sex and other tricky things in the kids section, doesn’t it? BUT we know that kids who grow up in families where communication is open, honest and spontaneous, do better in terms of their self-esteem, their sense of who they are, where they fit, and their overall mental wellbeing.

In a world that is so easily influenced by the opinions of others, it’s more important than ever to grow resilient confident kids right from the start. It’s never too early to start talking to your kids about their feelings, their bodies and what makes them unique and special.

Connections, Communications and Relationships

Connections and relationships are really important in the world of kids. Strong connections to family, extended family, friends, school and community help to build a sense of belonging, trust and confidence, all good ingredients for growing resilience and self-esteem.
